JOEL KLAR
Owner
I am very passionate about what I do and strive to push the boundaries of my knowledge and understanding of piano technology. I’m very easy to speak to and enjoy sharing knowledge of how the piano works.
I’ve been in this field my entire life. I’m very supportive of the Piano Technician’s Guild and guide others that have interest in learning piano technology.
NATHAN TERRYN
Nathan and Joel have been friends since high school. Throughout the years, Nathan has always helped out when needed. In 2020, Nathan started to learn how to tune pianos. At the beginning of 2023 Nathan has become part of the Piano Man team full time.
He is a member of the piano technician's guild and will be working over the next several years to become a registered piano technician or an RPT.
CHRISTOPHER STEVENS
Christopher has been a student of music his entire life. He studied the piano from a young age, excelled in band and choir, and graduated from Louisiana State University with concentrations in piano, organ, and composition. An international performer, his fascination with harmonics and mechanics led to a career as a piano technician, which he has been doing since 2021. In addition, he directs choir at Our Lady of Grace in Palm Bay and is organist and pianist at First Church Melbourne, and also teaches a small studio of young pianists.
NINA DIAZ
With over 15 years of administrative experience, Nina takes the lead on scheduling appointments for both our Florida and Alabama locations. She’s a mother of three who is also pursuing a Masters in psychology. In her free time she travels and also loves all things Disney - but mostly Mickey! Music plays a huge role in her life and with her psychology background she knows how important it can be to the wellbeing of some people. Playing or listening to a piano is a therapeutic Avenue so her aim is to keep people and their pianos in good health.
